Help and frequently asked questions

Do I pay anything to apply?

No. Applying is free at every stage. The Board does not use agents. Report anyone who asks you for money.

Can I change my application after submitting it?

Yes. You can amend or withdraw your application until the advert closes. Every change is kept as a new version.

Which documents do I need?

Each advert lists the documents it needs, usually your national ID, CV and academic certificates. Upload them once in your profile and reuse them. Clearance certificates (KRA, DCI, HELB, CRB, EACC) are not needed to apply; they are requested only from the candidate being considered for appointment.

How do I know if I have been shortlisted?

Your account shows the status of every application. Shortlisted candidates receive an email and SMS, and the shortlist is published on the advert page.

I need an accessible venue or a sign language interpreter.

When you apply you can tell HR what you need. This is seen only by HR, never by the people scoring you.

I did not receive my verification code.

Wait a minute and ask for a new code. Check that your email address and mobile number are correct; you can correct them on the verification page.
